20s-30s WOMEN’S PSYCHOTHERAPY GROUP

Dr. Cyndi Koch and Dr. Linda Centeno are facilitating a weekly psychotherapy group for women in their 20s and 30s who are dealing with anxiety, depression, or eating issues.  The group is held on Tuesdays from 8:30-9:45pm at The Koch Center’s Waldwick location.  A highly supportive and nurturing environment is created to allow group members to discuss and process issues related to relationships, family, work, and to help gain support and strategies to better cope with anxiety, depression and eating issues.

ADOLESCENT PROGRAM

Dr. Elaine DiMola is facilitating a weekly DBT SKILLS group and DBT Diary Card group for Teens.  DBT Groups meet weekly, and all skills are expected to be completed within a five to six-month period.  A one-week break will occur between each skill set.  DBT Skills Groups teach the four DBT Key Skills to help individuals learn new coping strategies to replace problematic ones.  The focus of this therapy is to present and practice the four skill sets of DBT:  Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness.

SOCIAL SKILLS GROUPS

The Koch Center offers social skills groups for children preschool through high school, held both in Englewood and Hohokus.  Groups run in eight week cycles. Children are placed with peers who are of a similar age and developmental level.  At present, we are either running or forming groups for all ages preschool through high school.
